AB looks to make inroads in Latino market

Anheuser-Busch plans to splash out a 25 percent spending increase this year in total Spanish-language advertising — covering venues from billboards to local  radio. Spending on national outlets such as Univision and Telemundo will rise 45 percent.

Anheuser-Busch spent about $26 million on Spanish-language advertising in the first nine months of 2007, according to an estimate by New York-based research firm TNS Media Intelligence.
